Who this is for
You already work in IT. You write scripts, manage systems, and understand how infrastructure actually runs. What you haven’t had yet is the structured path to go from managing on-prem environments and writing automation scripts to designing, deploying, and securing cloud infrastructure at enterprise scale.

Have 1+ year of professional scripting or coding experience — Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar used regularly in their role

Are comfortable in a Linux terminal — SSH, file management, process control, and command-line tooling

Understand how networks work — DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, and basic routing concepts

Have deployed, hosted, or maintained at least one application or service — even a personal project

Have worked with REST APIs in code — calling endpoints, parsing JSON, handling authentication

Are willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA for training and to client sites for project assignments

Infrastructure-as-code basics: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Bicep

CI/CD or DevOps tool experience: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps

Cloud security or IAM basics: roles, permissions, RBAC, security groups, or encryption

Cloud certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure AZ-900, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, or CompTIA Cloud+

Active GitHub with scripts, config files, IaC code, or deployment projects
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Strong candidates without a degree who have demonstrable scripting, systems, and infrastructure experience are also considered
